    JOB SUMMARY:  The Associate Director of Creative Operations will play a vital, hands-on role in ensuring the overall quality and effectiveness of the creative products for our digital clients. He/she will take an entrepreneurial approach and embrace a fast-paced environment while driving and instituting process changes as necessary to create the most efficient and healthy culture. Reporting to the VP of Operations, he/she will own internal client relationships and lead both onshore and offshore teams.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    • You’ll champion our internal creative processes and work hands-on in creative production.
    • Develop and simplify technical workflows to optimize and operationalize production for scalability.
    • Foster accountability of cross-functional team leads to resolve campaign issues and ensure campaign success.
    • Proactively confront misaligned expectations and drive necessary communication to bring all parties into alignment.
    • Manage and assess client feedback for revisions to creative layouts/function/etc. that will produce the most effective outcome based on campaign/client goals.
    • Develop process improvements and SLAs while ensuring adoption of process.
    • Study and research digital advertising, media and technology trends that present creative opportunities to drive for innovation in products and creative executions.
    • Lead and mentor creative team members to enhance their skills and attain their professional goals.

     

    Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS and JavaScript is required.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple projects simultaneously, building appropriate processes and tools.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and usage of standard project management concepts, practices and procedures.
    • Ability to influence peers and managers while dealing with ambiguity.
    • Experience mentoring and growing creative teams, as well as assessing quality of design layouts and user experiences.
    • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Edge Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and experience with Microsoft Office and iWork.
    • Professional, approachable, outgoing and diplomatic demeanor.
    • Detail oriented and results driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong relationship building/partnering skills and the ability to work with varying levels of individual contributors and management.  Comfortable presenting to executives.

     

    Education/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 4+ of creative services/operations experience. 2+ years leading creative teams or project coordination roles. PMP credentials, preferred.

     

    Training/EquipmentAdvanced Microsoft Suite, Google AdWords, and Facebook Certification.

     

    Work Environment/Mental/Physical RequirementsFast-paced office environment with deadlines.  Successful candidates are comfortable with day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority. After all, it is digital.
